Job Title : Head of Marketing – Specialty Chemicals
Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic & technically proficient head of marketing to lead our B2B marketing. He will drive market positioning & demand generation for our high value portfolio catering to the Pharma, Agro- chemical & flavor & fragrances (F& F) sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO/ED. He will bridge the gap between technical innovation and commercial success.
He will position our company as a preferred strategic supplier to global and domestic clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning: Develop target marketing strategies for specialty chemicals and high-value verticals. Develop target marketing to the distinct buying behavior of Pharma, Agro chemicals & f &f clients.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze chemical industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging regulatory impacts. Track global shifts in target industries, regulatory updates (like REACH or FDA rules)
- Technical content leadership : Oversee the creation of technical white paper, case studies, product data sheet & digital content. In short Oversee the product lifecycle from initial lab development to commercial launch.
- Lead Generation: Execute technical content marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) for global B2B clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align closely with R&D, Technical Service, and Sales teams for efficient transfer of product.
- Event Leadership: Direct company participation in major international chemical trade shows and technical symposiums.
- Budget & ROI management : Formulate, allocate & monitor the annual marketing budget to insure maximum return on marketing investment.
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, An MBA in International Marketing or strategy from reputed Institute is highly preferred. CRM Software knowledge is essential.
- Experience: Minimum 20 plus years of B2B marketing experience specifically within the specialty chemicals sector.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing marketing teams and budgets in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to translate complex chemical properties into clear business value propositions.
- Communication: Masterful communication skill with the ability to engage tech. stake holders, scientist, and corporate procurement executives.

Job Title : Executive/Sr.Executive – Technology Transfer

Position Summary
The Chemical Engineer – Acts as the vital technical bridge between laboratory-scale synthesis (R&D) and commercial manufacturing. The primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless, safe, and efficient scale-up of new chemical processes, overseeing everything from initial lab evaluation and pilot-scale trials to full commercial validation.
The role involves close collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Assurance, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to ensure smooth scale-up, process optimization, and commercialization while maintaining product quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Process Scale-Up & Evaluation
- Observe critical reaction and purification steps in the laboratory to evaluate their scalability and feasibility for plant-scale equipment.
- Provide process engineering inputs regarding unit operations (e.g., chlorination, esterification, crystallization, distillation).
- Provide process engineering inputs regarding reaction detailing kinetic and thermodynamic study (e. g. heat of reaction, heat of product formation and rate of reaction)
- Review and verify scale-up calculations, mass balances, and heat/energy transfer dynamics.
Technology Transfer Documentation:
- Compile, author, and review comprehensive **Technology Transfer Packages (TTP)**, Technology Transfer Reports, and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
- Prepare detailed material and energy balance sheets, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and equipment mapping grids.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to facilitate analytical method transfers and manage change controls.
Trial & Validation Execution:
- Directly monitor and provide on-site technical support during pilot plant trials (e.g., 25 kg to 1 MT campaigns) and commercial validation batches.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) like batch cycle times, raw material yields, and product purity profiles.
- Identify process bottlenecks (e.g., extended reaction or crystallization hold times) and propose data-driven optimization strategies.
Process Safety & EHS Compliance:
- Ensure strict process safety compliance for all inbound R&D processes by participating in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Assess the safety parameters of volatile raw materials (e.g., phosphorus trichloride, chlorinated solvents) and establish safe handling protocols.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact between R&D scientists, Plant Operations, Quality Control (QC), QA, and Engineering teams.
- Coordinate with the QC and QA departments to ensure that Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and analytical data (such as Gas Chromatography/HPLC chromatographs) align with scale-up expectations
.Candidate Profile & Requirements
Education – B. Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering or an M.Sc. in Organic / Industrial Chemistry from a recognized university.
Technical Skills & Experience
Experience: – 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in technology transfer, process development, or pilot plant operations within the fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, or API/pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
Process Simulation: Familiarity with process engineering tools or simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Dynochem) is highly preferred.
Scale-Up Knowledge: Strong grasp of unit operations, equipment mapping, mass-transfer limits, and reaction kinetics.
Compliance: Basic understanding of cGMP guidelines, regulatory audit practices, and standard GxP documentation protocols.
